Our committee

Our parent committee sign up for the year and meet once a month to discuss and co-ordinate everything from fundraisers, barbeques at Bunnings, parent nights out, Open Day activities, excursions and incursions.

Being on the committee gives you an added sense of community, making new friends and input towards our children’s experience at kinder. There is guidance from previous years with an annual program of activities, notes and templates to work from. Meetings are held at our kinder, after work hours.

The committee welcomes all skills. If you can play a musical instrument, garden, assemble furniture, fix websites, understand bookkeeping, have contacts within local government/marketing/media, even if you’re just a social person and can spruik the term’s fundraising activity – your skill will be appreciated.

Every year in November we hold an AGM and call for nominations for the following year’s committee. Included below is a description of the various positions on the committee. We encourage you to consider being a part of the committee. Children love seeing you coming in and helping prune trees, cooking at Bunnings (very exciting!), play your guitar for them or sell raffle tickets. Feel free to have a chat with me if you would like to know more.

Warm regards
Kelly Mevel
